The Storage Configuration Setting module in TonaPik allows the admin to choose and configure the platform’s asset storage system. Admins can opt to use the default local storage or enable cloud-based options for scalable and distributed storage needs.

  • Local Storage :
By default, all assets are stored in the server’s local disk without the need for any credentials.
Ideal for simple setups or development environments with low storage requirements.
  • Cloud Storage Options :
TonaPik supports multiple cloud providers including FTP, DigitalOcean, Wasabi, and Vultr.
Activating any of these cloud storage options requires the admin to input valid credentials such as access keys, secret keys, endpoint URLs, and region or bucket details.
These configurations ensure seamless and secure integration with third-party storage services.
  • FTP Storage :
Admin must provide host, port, username, password, and storage path for FTP connection.
  • DigitalOcean Spaces :
Requires space name, region, access key, bucket, driver and secret key.
  • Wasabi Storage :
Needs bucket name, region, endpoint URL, access key, driver and secret key.
  • Vultr Object Storage :
Configured using Vultr bucket details, endpoint, access key, driver, region and secret key.

This setup gives TonaPik the flexibility to scale with content volume while maintaining secure and reliable storage. Admins can switch or manage storage systems based on their operational needs.
